Zakladnica Shōsō-in se nahaja na območju templja Todaiji, v mestu Nara. Tam so med drugim shranjene dragocenosti cesarja Shōmuja (701-756).  Večji del zbirke razglednic Alme M. Karlin (1889-1950), pisateljice, novinarke, popotnice, ljubiteljske raziskovalke in teozofinje, je nastal med njenim potovanjem okrog sveta, v letih 1919-1927. Alma M. Karlin sodi med največje svetovne popotnike vseh časov; potovala je sama, neprekinjeno osem let in se v tem času preživljala s svojim delom.Karlinova je med potovanjem obiskala tudi Japonsko, ki jo je povsem prevzela. Vrček; bela prst, glazura, relief, brez signature, vrezan X, zadnja tretjina 19. stoletja, višina 14 cm, inv. št. K – 1966. Podobno kot pri ročki pod inv. št. K – 1515 je oblikovalec uporabil za motiv hmeljsko trto s kobulami. Zaradi prozorne glazure motiv ni prišel do izraza.

Silc for the firing is simple glažutarski product of blown glass in a wooden mold. The base is thickened, cylindrical foot and smooth the stack has the shape of a bell. The bottom of the cups is slightly expanded in the form of a bead, while the central part of the loads of a bell-shaped. Glass is not cemented, the upper edge is rounded. Colour glass shows a classic color "forest" of glass, as was manufactured glassworks in our area.
